Artist Biography
Born in Venezuela, he grapples with the legacy of a nation shaped by the complex interplay of colonization, Western influence, and economic sanctions.
His work explores the paradoxes of a world where ideology pervades every aspect of life through the objects we consume, as we witness economic forces continuing to reshape societies.
With extensive experience crafting and adapting marketing strategies across Asian markets for global brands, he is acutely aware of the cultural power embedded in the commodities we encounter.
His art challenges viewers to confront the discomfort of seeing themselves reflected in these recontextualized objects and to question the depth of their connection to the things that define them.
