CHAVIS MÁRMOL

Apan, Hidalgo, Mexico 1982. A versatile 4x4 artist, his mastery of diverse techniques and materials makes his artistic production a vast array of forms that traverse mediums such as sculpture, painting, installation, and performance.
He has participated in various national and international exhibitions, including notable venues such as the Juan Mach Foundation in Madrid, the Jumex Museum in Mexico City, the Anahuacalli Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chile, the UNAM University Art Biennale, the Monterrey Emerging Art Biennale, the State of Mexico International University Art Biennale, as well as independent galleries such as JO-HS New York, Guadalajara 90210, Lanao, Anonymus Gallery, Casa Wabi Gallery, Artbaena
Contemporary Art, and Nasal Gallery.
He is currently a member of the National System of Art Creators (SNCA) and recipient of the Gorrita Azul Prize for Promising Artist. His work has been published in various media outlets such as El País México, La Jornada, Noir Magazine, Hiperallergic, El Economista, MVS, The Guardian, Times of India, This is Beirut, Gznodo Australia, Hypebeat, Artishok, among many others.
He founded the art and design production studio Todo Woooow, where he has collaborated with over 50 artists, producing work for both national and international museums and galleries, including the Tamayo Museum, the Eco Museum, and the Jumex Museum in Mexico City, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid, and the New Museum in New York.
